We are in the midst of a global pandemic that has altered our daily lives in a way most of us have never experienced or imagined. Our thoughts are with you as we all navigate the changing landscape.
The Vancouver International Wine Festival returned to in-person events, May 16-22, 2022, with significantly lowered capacity to ensure as much room as possible for patrons and exhibitors to physically distance themselves as desired. While masks were not required, many staff, volunteers and patrons did opt to increase their protection by wearing masks while not actively eating or tasting. The 2023 festival will take place April 22-30 and will adhere to any and all Public Health Orders currently in place.
Face coverings in indoor public spaces
Mask wearing at the festival is optional. Should circumstances change between now and the event, the festival will comply with any updated PHOs and venue policies. VanWineFest recognizes that choosing to wear a mask or not is a personal preference, and we encourage everyone to make that choice according to their own comfort level and situation.
Proof of Vaccination / BC Vaccine Card
As per the current situation, we will not be requiring proof of vaccination for entrance to events. If the vaccine card is reinstated prior to the event, however, we will update our policy to ensure we are in line with provincial guidelines. As we have a firm policy of no refunds or exchange, please keep that in mind when making your purchase.
