Canada’s Place in Key Wine Markets
How are Canadian wines perceived outside of the country? What is the demand for them, and what types of wines will best succeed in export? How do they get to international markets?
The challenge for any developing wine region is how to define its place in the world. And Canada has made great strides on that front. But how does Canada—and BC specifically—tell its story and explain its unique value in an ever more complicated global market? What will make its wines a must-buy? We’ll consider that from all perspectives: inside the local and national industry, from buyers and importers who see the international market up close, and from media who have a global view of what’s hot today.
Moderator Jon Bonné probes these issues with panelists Christine Coletta, Nik Darlington, Janet Dorozynski, Dr. Jamie Goode and Sebastien Le Goff.
Jon Bonné will also be the featured speaker at the Lessons from California lunch, immediately following.
