VanWineFest Returns

The Vancouver International Wine Festival, Canada’s premier wine show, is pleased to announce dates for the 2022 festival. The 43rd festival will run Monday, May 16 to Sunday, May 22 at the Vancouver Convention Centre and other venues around town.

The 2022 festival is still in the planning stages, but will feature a broad selection of tastings, winery dinners, lunches, and seminars, and a fundraising Bacchanalia Gala with auction, all subject to public health guidelines.

“We hoped for a fully-fledged festival in late February, but with continued COVID-19 restrictions, we’ve now got our aim on brighter days in spring,” says Harry Hertscheg, Executive Director, Vancouver International Wine Festival. “We were relieved when mid-May dates became available at the Vancouver Convention Centre, our exceptional main venue since 1988, so we can now look forward to ensuring an exciting, safe festival for all our attendees and participants.”

There will be a strong presence from wineries around the world, eager to share their wines, knowledge and stories with wine lovers. The originally planned theme region of South America will be postponed until 2023 to ensure that the festival can properly showcase the wineries and wines of South America and give them the spotlight they so richly deserve. Meanwhile, May 2022 is looking to be a very busy month for wine events, including the highly-popular Top Drop on May 10-11. So much to look forward to as we welcome the wine world back to Vancouver!

I saw that you have lower ticket purchase opportunity til 12/15. Your website is not customer friendly whatsoever. How about putting the information out for followers of your event?
